Orange red crystalline hygroscopic powder. 

Lightly :soluble in water or methanol,slightly soluble in ethanol (95%). Practically insoluble in chloroform or acetone.

Identification:

A) The retention time of the major peak of the chromatogram obtained with the assay is identicat with that of the reference chromatogram.

B)IR absorption spectrum should be consistent with that obtained with its CRS.

C) A white precipirate is formed when adding AgNO3 solution.
